What is a good way to get more experience working around Nuclear reactors?

I find Nuclear technology fascinating. I learned in 5th grade the principles of how Nuclear reactors work. I really would enjoy working around Nuclear reactors and hazardous chemicals and not the noxious gases my roommates emit or the food they cook.
